I offer strength-based movement sessions for workplaces, teams, and individuals who want to feel more energised, focused, and physically capable at work. Sessions use controlled intensity, clear structure, and breath-led movement to support stress regulation, confidence, and performance.
This work is practical, engaging, and grounded in how bodies actually work. It suits offices, creative industries, and high-pressure environments looking for something effective, enjoyable, and genuinely supportive of real working lives.
My work centres on movement, strength, and nervous system awareness as practical tools for wellbeing. I’m interested in how the body and mind work together, how physical capacity, stress, habits, and focus influence each other, and how realistic, repeatable movement can make everyday life feel clearer and more manageable.
I use strength-based, breath-led movement to help people feel more capable in their bodies and steadier under pressure. This includes building stabiliser strength, supporting joints, and learning how to stay present and regulated during physical challenge rather than avoiding it. The aim is not perfection or flexibility, but confidence, control, and resilience that carry into daily life.
Alongside classes, I work with individuals, small groups, and workplaces to support energy, focus, and stress regulation through structured movement sessions. This work is practical, engaging, and grounded in how bodies actually function, whether that’s in a studio, a workplace, or a high-pressure environment.
I work across Ilkley, Burley in Wharfedale, and Yorkshire, offering movement-based classes and workplace sessions that support wellbeing in realistic, accessible ways.
Above all, my approach is grounded and supportive. People learn and adapt best when they feel safe, capable, and understood. My role is to guide and challenge where needed, meeting people where they are and helping them build strength, confidence, and clarity over time.
My Approach
About My Work
I’m a movement teacher, mother, and business owner with a long-standing interest in how the body and mind influence each other. That curiosity began early. I started working in gyms at the age of 14, where I quickly noticed how differently people behaved during and after exercise. The shifts in mood, focus, and confidence hooked me straight away.
Alongside this, I grew up dancing, which shaped my appreciation for movement as both training and expression. That combination of physical effort, awareness, and emotional change continues to underpin how I work.
My path began with yoga teacher training, but my focus has always been wider than yoga alone. Yoga gave me a foundation in breath, awareness, and nervous system support, which has since expanded into strength-based movement, stabiliser work, and practical approaches to regulation and resilience.
Movement is central to my own life. I climb, lift weights, run, practise yoga, hike, and take on physical challenges, often alongside my children. Supporting them to build confidence and resilience through movement matters deeply to me, and the same philosophy runs through my work with adults.
Everything I offer, from classes to workplace sessions and individual work, is grounded in one intention: to help people feel capable, steady, and more in control of their everyday lives.
My Story
Growing up, movement wasn’t always easy for me. I struggled with joint issues and often wondered why things felt harder for me than for others. Dance became the first place I understood discipline, strength and how persistence can grow from challenge.
My dad’s life also shaped the way I see people and their experiences. His journey took him from leaving school at fourteen, to life at sea, to the Army where he rose to sergeant, and then into high-responsibility security work. When he later struggled with PTSD, it changed our family in ways that were difficult to navigate, and we eventually lost him.
Working through grief gave me a stronger interest in how the mind works - how stress, memories and behaviour connect, and how everyday habits can influence how we cope. That understanding naturally led me toward lifestyle coaching.
Movement became my anchor throughout all of this. I found the gym at fourteen and was drawn to the focus and energy of people training with intention. That curiosity grew into a lifelong interest in strength work, mobility, dance and, eventually, yoga.
Today, I bring all of that into my work: functional strength, mobility, evidence-based yoga and practical lifestyle coaching. My aim is to help people build stability, improve wellbeing and feel supported - in both body and mind - in a way that fits into real life.
