Inner Strength Retreat- Movement & Writing

Ilkley Playhouse | 04 July | 09:30am - 12:30pm

Combining strength-based movement with writing for wellbeing, the session is an opportunity to reconnect with yourself and explore your inner strength.

You’ll begin with a guided movement practice led by Keeley, designed to build confidence, clarity and calm under challenge. After a short break, Faye will lead a writing session with exercises designed to inspire self-reflection, self-expression and creativity.

Each practice stands alone but together they create space for exploration, curiosity and self-discovery.

Other Details

    • Comfortable clothing suitable for movement

    • A yoga mat (if you have one - spares can be provided)

    • A notebook and pen

    • Water

  • The movement session is strength-based but adaptable. There’s no need to worry your writing won't be good enough. We'll focus on the writing process, not the resulting product.

Writing exercises are designed to explore positive experiences and elicit pleasant emotions. However, as everyone has their own story, some themes and topics may hold uncomfortable personal meaning. The session is not therapy and it is important you are able to keep yourself safe.

  • If you are struggling to find us, please give Keeley a call on 07479 939119, and she’ll help guide you to where you need to be.
